    Naturally Neighbors

    12.20

Gold Mountain Coffee Growers teamed up with several producers in the Jinotega coffee producing region who each produce small amounts of natural process insufficient to comprise an export lot. Together, however, their coffees are a complex fruit celebration! Gold Mountain Coffee Growers treats coffee farming like fine wine production, working on traceability, wet processing, drying , transport, picking techniques, financial management, and much more with each member farm. Gold Mountain places its ripeness teams on every single farm during picking to ensure award winning results.

    Finca Idealista

    12.80

Finca Idealista has spent years developing the best way to conduct a carbonic maceration nanolot of its Pacas and Caturra varieties (not to mention getting apparatuses such as air traps and pH meters and liquids through customs). This lot is the result of a journey of trial and error, and collaboration with producers in other countries who shared their experiences and best practices for achieving mind boggling cupping results. Now they have it down to a science but are open to further experimentation down the road. This coffee doesn’t taste like coffee.

    Los Milagros

Mario & Angelica´s farm is called “Los Milagros” because it helps their family earn a living. They not only grow coffee but also grow cabbage, carrots, lettuce, potatoes and more.
A walk through their farm helps you understand why it´s called The Miracles- because it produces wonders of vegetables and coffee. In fact they are transitioning from vegetables towards greater coffee production.
Their kids are Elmer Leandro and Yader Antonio. When asked why the are converting to coffee from vegetable
production, they responded that coffee farming is betterfor the land.
